What is Graphite Block Made of?

The main raw material of graphite block are petroleum coke coal tar pitch. According to the forming method, high purity graphite block can be devided into three types: isostatic, molding and extrusion. Graphite block has a wide range of characteristics in mechanical strength, friction resistance, density, hardness and conductivity, and can be further improved by impregnating resin or metal.
